Impact
The impact of spiritual encouragement, steward relationships, community support, and relief from financial burdens is often underestimated by those who give, but to the families that receive them, it means the world.
When you join together with Love Big Love Well, you are helping to impact people’s lives and remind them of the God that loves them deeply.

The Keller Family
Our son Levi was diagnosed at two with stage 2 perimenengial rhabdomyosarcoma. Because surgery wasn’t an option, he underwent chemotherapy and proton radiation. As Christians, we brought our fears to the Lord and held tightly to the hope Jesus gives. We prayed for miracles and saw many, reminding ourselves daily that heaven was secure because of Christ.

Our faith anchored us through the fear and pain of pediatric cancer, and we watched Levi’s own faith flourish.

We were upheld by an extraordinary support system—family, church, friends, and community—who cared for us in countless ways and strengthened our faith. God used relationships to remind us we were never alone. Even hospital staff noticed how unusual and beautiful that support was.

A group of college soccer players became one of Levi’s greatest joys, pouring into him with fun, friendship, and conversations about Jesus. Their presence helped nurture his tender faith.

We don’t want any family facing a life‑altering diagnosis to be overwhelmed by fear. The hope of Christ is for everyone. We rest in knowing Levi is with Jesus, and until we join him, we want to love families walking similar roads and help connect them with communities who can share the hope of the Gospel.
Eva's Story
When Pastor Keith Williams of Cobham Park Baptist Church reached out to us, Eva had just been admitted to UVA Children’s Hospital to await a heart transplant. Being so far from home meant she and her mother were suddenly separated from her father and siblings, facing an unfamiliar and difficult season.

We were grateful for the chance to meet Eva and her family at the hospital and deliver a care package. During that visit, we learned more about what they were navigating and were able to connect them with helpful resources, including housing support through the Yellow Door Foundation.

In the months that followed, we continued to walk alongside the family. Care packages for Eva and her siblings, gourmet cupcakes, gift cards, and simple moments of encouragement helped brighten their days. Through texts, phone calls, and prayer, we reminded them they were not alone and lifted their needs to the One who heals.

Meanwhile, back home, Cobham Park Baptist Church surrounded the family with love—calls, texts, cards, meals, practical help, and faithful prayer. Their congregation truly became the hands and feet of Jesus to Eva and her loved ones.

As was shared so beautifully at Cobham Park Baptist: “Eva has a new heart and a heart for Jesus.”

Link's Story
When we were in Cincinnati, Lincoln fell in love with a therapy Golden Retriever. That little dog brought him more joy than we had seen in a long time, so we quietly began searching for a puppy of his own.

Before Love Big Love Well even had a name, Jessie reached out and asked if she could help. She didn’t just find a puppy—she found the exact one Link had hoped for: a “brown” (red) puppy with “whittle white on her peet.” He knew she was his.

Blaze came home on May 23, 2025, and stayed by his side for the next three weeks. Link proudly named her himself. Lincoln passed away on June 14, 2025.

Afterward, when we removed his car seat, Blaze climbed into the empty spot and laid down, as if she understood. She brought him immeasurable joy in his final weeks—joy we could never fully describe.

Looking back, we can see that Love Big Love Well was already being lived out. Jessie’s compassion, her willingness to step into our pain, and her desire to lift even a small part of our burden became the foundation of a ministry that now serves families like ours.

Levi would be so proud. He LOVED BIG, and now his family is honoring him by LOVING WELL.
